This is one of those pieces of costume that has a hundred-and-one uses.

The coif style bonnet is made from calico.
This plain, unbleached 100% Cotton (pre-shrunk machine washed) is called calico. This fabric can either be pressed well to give a smooth finish or washed and left rumpled and creased to have a totally different styling. It is the most amazing fabric to work with for costumes. Can easily be tea stained, dyed, and "aged" each time it is washed will get softer, but stay strong. So many uses for a wardrobe staple and can cover centuries of styling!

Multi size adult bonnet double thick fabric (lined with same fabric). The back has darts and elastic to give a good fit.

The sewing is to a professional standard giving a staple costume.
